Shipping and Handling Information |

Quick Facts
- Shipping and handling/insurance charges are based
on the total weight of the order when packed for shipping, and are calculated in US
pounds.
- Our web services company
is Visible Sites. You will see this name on your credit card statement.
- Shipping Weight:
The weight of the product when packaged for shipping. This is not the same as the
weight of the product(s) due to the necessary addition of packaging. Minimum
UPS shipping cost is calculated at 1 lb., and is a factor beyond our control.
- Products Shipped From Our
Suppliers: Most products are
sent from our warehouse in Texas, but some perishable products are shipped directly from
suppliers. Products shipped from suppliers will have the product cost, taxes (if
applicable), and shipping added together as one total price.
- If your order contains items that are shipped by
a supplier, they will arrive separately from items we stock at our warehouse, and may
arrive via a different shipper.
- We use UPS Ground
shipping.
- We do not ship to PO Boxes or
FPO/APO addresses. UPS Ground is not available to Alaska or Hawaii.
- At the time you finalize your order, our shopping
cart connects to the server at the UPS to retrieve the information necessary to calculate
shipping and handling for your order. If the UPS server is busy and cannot supply the
necessary information to our shopping cart program, we will contact the customer with the
correct shipping and handling information before the order is processed and
shipped. No orders will be shipped without shipping/handling charges being
calculated (except for products shipped from a supplier, which has this pre-calculated
into the price quoted).
- Damaged Packages or
Items: All products are
properly packaged and in good condition when they leave our warehouse. All items
purchased from CookPerfect.Com are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means
that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the
carrier (UPS). If you receive
a shipment with a damaged box or containing damaged items, please retain the package and
call UPS to file a claim for reimbursement.
- Packages returned To
CookPerfect.Com By UPS: Packages
returned to CookPerfect.Com by UPS as undeliverable due to incorrect address, insufficient
address, correct consignee not at delivery address, rejected by doorman or other persons
at delivery address, or for any other reason, shall receive a credit to their card or
Paypal account for the order total minus the shipping/handling charges initially paid by
CookPerfect.Com, and minus the return fee charged to CookPerfect.Com by UPS.
- Sales Tax: Sales
tax of 6.75% will be charged for the purchase of non-food items sold to TX residents.
