Cajun Etoufeé seasoning mix. Spicy HOT flavor. 2 oz. package
Ingredients: Wheat flour, garlic, onion, salt,
cayenne pepper, bell pepper, paprika, spices.
Directions for Crawfish or Shrimp
Etoufeé:
Brown 5 large tablespoons of oleo or margarine (use crawfish fat instead, if you have it).
Dissolve Cajun Spicy Etoufeé Mix in 1½ cups cold water. Then, add to above,
when mixture becomes thick, add ½ cup (or more) of cold water. Reduce heat, add
crawfish tails or shrimp (approx. 1 LB.), cook for 15 minutes, turn heat off. Cover
and let stand 15 minutes. For chicken, turkey, etc., meat must be pre-cooked and
de-boned. |
