"Original" Italian
Olive Salad is an integral part
of New Orleans' Creole/Italian
cuisine. A favorite of New
Orleans chefs, it's a mixture of
imported green and black olives,
capers, pickled vegetables, and
blends of herbs and spices packed
in 100% imported olive oil.
Best
known as a key ingredient in the
Muffaletta Italian sandwich, it
also makes a delicious salad when
mixed with tomatoes, lettuce,
etc. Great for Mediterranean
Pizza toppings or try it in
Jambalaya.
